The most beautiful destinations

Palaces and castles

In addition to Neuschwanstein, the epitome of a romantic medieval castle, Linderhof Palace or Hohenschwangau Castle, the Jagdschlössl on the Schachen is a special spot. Both, the view of the Werdenfels region, and the view of the upper floor show an absolute fairytale world. We are more than happy to give tips on different tours in our region.

On gentle paths

The most beautiful walks and hikes around Arzbach. Discovering animals in the forest and moors, bird watching on the Isar and impressive nature experiences throughout the seasons.

Whether you follow the Jacobsweg, Isar hiking trails or the Munich-Venice long-distance hiking trail - they all lead through or to our small village. Outdooractive has many hiking suggestions on their site.

Active and sportive

Whether cycling, hiking, climbing, swimming, skiing, cross-country skiing, ski touring, snowboarding, skating or sledding is your passion ... there are endless ways to actively spend your time in the Bavarian Oberland. We like to travel a lot ourselves and are always happy to give individual tips and advice.

Wellness and well-being

When it is cold and wet outside, our surroundings offer a large selection of relaxation oases.

One of the many highlights is Munich’s Mathilden Hamam with its relaxing, therapeutic and cleansing Rasul bath. But there are endless options, like the 17-meter long sauna ship Irmingard in Montemare at Lake Tegernsee or the criystal therme (spa and swimming pool) in Kochel, where you can enjoy breathtaking mountain and lake views while heating up in the sauna, and cool off in the crisp, cold lake water to refresh afterwards.
